That particular day, i really wondered.
Why the hell did i mark my attendance for the SP Graduation Ceremony?
Its absolutely nothing but trouble.
Ceremony starts at 2pm, but all guest should be seated by 1pm on the first come first served basis.
No seats? Then go the Auditorium where u will look at the a live screen instead of ur own kid. Totally defits the purpose of attending the ceremony.
Worst part, we have to travel all the way to Serangoon to rent our graduation robe at $25 (not inclusive of GST) with $50 deposit while other polys are providing them at a so much cheaper price for their rental of robes.
($_$)"
Serangoon Broadway.
Naively, i thought that it was some lork kok attire rental shop where you must queue under the hot sun for the robe but woo~!
It ended up with some Bridal Shop where they provided photography services for wedding/graduation/etc etc.
Fortunately, bf drove that day.
It will be nightmare if i have to take a train from Bukit Batok to Potong Pasir then transfer a bus to Serangoon THEN try to find my way to that shop.
=/
But he demanded cab fare from me. o.O?
Anyway, the SP graduation robe looks kind of pastor-ly.
A slight touch of holyness?
(x_X)
Oh yar, unbelievable, but we saw Kevin, The Mole, when we were at Serangoon Broadway.
Just when i was trying on the robe, i saw him.
Its has been a looooong time since i last saw him.
No change in him, his mole is still as big and prominent as it used to be. Haha.
Come to think of it, its has been a so looooooooong since i last saw anyone from Singapore Polytechnic.
Perhaps the most recent ones will only be padi during Funan Fair, Ws at soccer court, June Lin at Clarke Quay, and Jian Ting at J8. =/
Perhaps all these trouble from the graduation ceremony boils down to the fact that me wanting my parents, especially my dad to have a feel of it.
To have a feel of ur only kid graduating from some school.
Well, who knows whether i can get into an University and graduate from there?
Few years down the road, anything and everything could change.
Plans are merely guides, aren't fate or destiny.
Apparently, the Polytechnic graduation ceremony is just one step down from the Uni one. Haha.
Not too bad wad.
Will be attending Bf's graduation and Bf will be attending mine.
Sounds a little stupid because we graduate from the same school (different faculty) and our graduation dates are only one day apart.
Haha. But his should be a better one to watch because he is receiving something more than the diploma...........
I scream and cheer for you when you are up there okay?!
