Not sure is it called Dong Zhi or Dong Jie because in cantonese, we call it Dong Jit! Early morning, my mom and kim kim started preparing the food. Its only during these special occasions when my mom will personally cook. And this is when we get to taste the real good food.
Well usually, my mom will just hang around, SUPERVISE, give orders, comments and complain. haha. Not saying that kim kim's culinery skills are lousy. In fact, she's good enough! Just that she isnt consistent. Hur hur~
All my sisters, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, maids came over for the sumptous lunch and tang yuans. This year, our tang yuans are pre-made, no longer handmade because mummy complains its a waste of time! She rather spend time on those dishes but those pre-made ones taste as delicious. I guess the key lies in the soup base. AWESOME!
After the food, mingled around and we had our christmas gift exchange session. That's like the happiest moment for the kids. Only got to know that I'm involved in their gift exchange thing yesterday and so i can only grab something from westmall. Hoho.
As usual, Selestia suck at choosing gift and we all had some commotion about it. Fancy giving tupperware as a gift to my mother. Kiam meh.
Anyway, these are my presents from my fellow sisters!
Coincidentally, all are in the tone of purple and pink. So CUTE! Love them all.
Looking at the Lavender Kitty, it brought back some childhood memories of mine. Frankly speaking, I'm ain't big fan of Hello Kitty now but somehow, i have many kitties. Yes, MANY.

Perhaps when i'm young, i'm severely attracted by that mouthless cat to the extent that my family still thinks that I'm attracted to it. But well, I STILL FANCY HELLO HELLO KITTY!
Sanrio sucks because all their characters are so cute and EXPENSIVE. So is San-X, Precious Moments blah ar blah~!
Haha. Indeed, cute stuff are a perfect waste of money.
